This of course is an American (god bless 'em) term for low life lawyers that prey on accident cases sniffing out a negligence law suit. What has that got to do with us ? Absolutely nothing...........................it's just a catchy line and really the only one I could think of at the time ! What we want to tell you about is our success in pitching for and winning the preventative Pest Control work for the North West Ambulance Service. Business Development maestro Steve "bite yer legs" Crowley made the initial approach, got us in to see the main man and got the agreement to site surveys of all of the sites covered by the authority. We discovered a very poor state of affairs with the service delivery by the supplier and after we pulled it all together and presented it back we were awarded the agreement. This is not only a great result for Steve but a great move for the company as it gives us a presence in areas that we were not in previously - meaning further opportunities for furure growth - well played Stevie boy ! |

Steve Crowley strikes again ! This time in Tarleton (near Preston) with winning the regular pest control work at Len Wright Salads. He successfully jemmied the work away from a national company and the work was "won on quality and not price" following a very thorough survey which exposed yawning gaps in the service that was supposed to be being delivered. Well done Stevie Boy ! |

We place a great deal of importance in training and knowledge. People that know what they are doing stand a good chance of doing a good job for our customers. Add to this the fact that we are often dealing with toxic substances and pathogenic bacteria from pests and washroom areas and you would expect people doing the jobs that we do to be up to speed with the latest methods and procedures. To this end we train put all of our employees through a rigorous 7 week training schedule when they start with us and then we place them on industry specific courses (run outside of the company) until they have been through all of the basic disciplines of the job. Once this has been completed staff are placed on refresher "workshop" days to make sure that their knowledge and expertise is kept bang up to date. Training records are always availiable on request and can be sent to you in database or individual certificate formats. Keeping training records for contractors is becoming more of an important issue - otherwise how do you know if the company carrying out your work has put a "competent person" on the job ? |
