The Financial year 2009-10 proved to be another successful year with the compnay declaring its strongest results to date.
Turnover was up 14% with net profit up 46%.
The whole team can be proud of this result - administration that ensure good cashflow, service that ensure customers are looked after and stay with us, sales who drive the top line and management who keep the team on board and a weather eye on the costs.
The aim for the coming 2 years is now to maintain the good basics of the business and drive the top line more - with more results expected from sales and avenues of additional turnover being actively explored.
The company expects another year of strong growth. |

We are in the process of putting all of our staff that work outside the office through CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checks. This is something that we are doing as a "good practice" operation as we think that it is a responsible thing to do, especially as we do a fair amount of work for childrens's nurseries, schools, colleges and Housing associations. It may well be that in time people withought valid CRB certificates will not be allowed to work in these environments so we are getting "ahead of the game" |

We have been lucky enough to sponsor the "Environmental Project of the Year" category in the Pendle Volunteer Awards for the last 2 years. It is always an great evening and this years ceremony was no different. Organised by Laura Brown and Martin Bradley from Pendle Community Network www.pendlecommunitynetwork.org.uk it went without a hitch. The Lady Mayoress Councillor Marjorie Adams made the awards (along with the sponsors) and our winner was Basil Street Allotments from Colne - well done guys !! We hope to be asked to be involved next year.

In May 2010 Managing Director Martin Harvey was elected to the Board of Directors of the British Pest Control Association. "This is a great honour individually and for the company" said Martin. "It's been something that i've been involved with on the periphery for years and I have always seen the value of a strong trade association but I never dreamt that I would be approached to sit on the board"
